Our fantastic volunteer crew is BIFF's backbone.

Our volunteers sit on the various committees that plan the festival, pick up our guests from the airport, take tickets at theatres, assist with special events and perform a wide variety of other important tasks that are crucial to the success of BIFF.

We are in urgent need of the following volunteers for the 2012 BIFF Festival from March 16-22:

BARTENDERS

BIFF is looking for volunteers who can help run a bar at the Liberty Theater from 6-11pm. Volunteers must be 21 years of age and bartending experience is a plus.

BAR MANAGERS

BIFF is looking for Bar Managers who will work with our management team to help manage a bar at the Liberty Theater from 6-11pm. Volunteers must be 21 years of age and bartending experience is required.

DAY THEATRE MANAGERS

BIFF is looking for dedicated volunteers who will join our team to oversee all the activities at the Liberty Theater during the Festival week. Volunteers must be 21 years of age and be willing to make public announcements and introductions. Responsible for coordinating and managing all the volunteers working at the theatre, and liaising with the Management Committee as required. We are seeking day theatre managers who would work shifts of either 9 am-1 pm or 1-6 pm.

POINT PERSON - GUEST RELATIONS

BIFF is looking for an organized, responsive volunteer who will act as the "point person" for guest relations during the Festival week.

DRIVERS

BIFF is looking for drivers who will transport the actual film reels from BIFF headquarters to Liberty Theatre on a regular basis during the Festival week. Volunteers must have a Bermuda license and use of a vehicle such as a hatchback, SUV and truck. BIFF is also looking for volunteers who will transport technicians to and from the airport to their hotel (some require early hours).

"CHAT WITH THE PROS" USHERS

BIFF is looking for two volunteers who will help usher and make announcements and introductions at our "Chat with the Pros" lunch time sessions at the Speciality Cinema & Grill in Hamilton.
