The Bermuda International Film Festival is presenting three free lunchtime panel discussions at the Bermuda Society of the Arts, City Hall, Church Street on Monday, 21 March, Tuesday, 22 March and Wednesday, 23 Marc from 12.15 - 1.15 pm.

Monday, March 21

From Script to Screen

On Monday, Peter Rainer of NPR will be discussing screenwriting with Larry Gross, the renown screenwriter who, with Walter Hill, co-wrote 48 Hours, Streets of Fire, Another 48 Hours and Geronimo. Winner of the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the Sundance Film Festival for We Don't Live Here Anymore starring Mark Ruffalo and Naomi Watts, Larry has years of experience writing scripts that reach the big screen. This Chats With... panel From Script to Screen promises to entertain and educate.

Oscar® Secrets Revealed!

Tuesday will see BIFF's Advisory Board member, David Poland, sit down with publicist Whitney Kimmel to spill secrets about the Oscars® in Oscar® Secrets Revealed! Whitney has represented such films as "The King's Speech", "Precious: Based on the Novel "Push" by Sapphire", "Biutiful", "Inglourious Basterds" and "A Single Man". These films don't win awards by accident; they are the subject of serious awards campaigns, and Whitney will give us a behind-the-scenes look at the Academy Awards®.
